“My name is Victoria L., I am Aiden’s mom. Aiden is one of Professor Bruno’s child students. We have known Professor Bruno and his family for the past few years. I cannot tell you enough good things about Bruno! He is not only a Jiu Jitsu professor, he is a leader and a mentor as well. He does not only teach the children how to protect themselves but also teaches respect and  self confidence. His job does not stop when the class is over or when the children leave the mat. His job is beyond that, he takes the time to build relationships with each and every one of his students. Sometimes he knows our children more than us because of the friendship they have built. I cannot think of any better role model for my son. Jiu Jitsu not only helped him personally but with his performance at school too. He is doing better and is proud to tell Professor how well he is doing. My son Aiden looks up to Professor Bruno so much. Bruno and his family have truly become a part of our family. “

Professor Bruno has been an outstanding teacher and friend to my children. It is heartwarming to know that my kids and all of their friends are not only learning great Jiu Jitsu but more importantly how to be amazing people. Seeing all of the members coming together to create such a welcoming environment is refreshing. Especially in today’s world, to have a family-friendly place to spend time together and improve ourselves, it’s priceless!

I am SO grateful for Bruno! The way that he connects with the kids is unlike anything I’ve seen (and we’ve done a LOT of extracurriculars!). The mutual respect between professor and student is profound. Not only have children grown in confidence and strength, but they know that what happens on the mat doesn’t stay there. Bruno teaches in a holistic way, about what it means to be a good person and how to stick up for the underdog, help those below you and stand up for yourself, all deeply rooted in respect and patience. I am honored to have Bruno support my children during this stage of their life (9 & 7) and feel safe knowing my kids will have a strong Jiu Jitsu foundation as they continue growing and progressing in the sport.
